Art De Leon

Michael Art de Leon (b. 1987) is a product of Philippine Women’s University, whose intricate sculptures and paintings are metaphors for his personal & social advocacies and expression. Experimentation is one of the learning processes he applied in developing his artworks. Each one of his works shows progression, and a continuous series of understanding one material to another. His concepts, which lean towards his personal life experiences, depict social issues with a sense of pop culture, both locally and globally. De Leon's body of work also demonstrates the collaborative imagination of the past events with its contemporaries.
