Jefkin Bienes

Jefkin Bienes (b. 1989) is a self-taught artist and member of the Neo Angono Artists Collective. He has been painting with acrylics since 2007 and started mastering oil paints in 2013. Bienes’ artworks, inspired and influenced by Salvador Dali and Jon Jaylo, expose fear of the end of time. He believes in treating time wisely by spending it with loved ones to avoid putting oneself in a situation of regret. As the artist narrates, the birth of his first child taught him to value time.
