Marking an exciting prelude to Art Underground’s 10th anniversary, the gallery presents Overture in mounting the stage for a dynamic year ahead as it brings together Arce, Arnold Lalongisip, SAIS, Erikson Arcilla, Jefkin Bienes, Robin Catle, Neil Defeo, Art de Leon, Nea de Leon, Paul David Magisa, Denmark Maribojoc, Jericho Moral, Jemill Pangilinan, Pollyanna, Mimi Salibio, JM Saycon, Red Salonga, Angelica So, and Jay Torres. Like the opening strains of a grand symphony, the group exhibition gathers a diverse array of artworks, each piece carrying anticipatory energy, building momentum toward AU’s ongoing journey alongside celebrating momentous events in the past that sculpted the gallery of what is it today.
